Our Home, and Polar Bear Studio, is in Mount Vernon, a unique and colorful small town in
the beautiful central, Belgrade Lakes Region of Maine, an area full of artists, writers, musicians, and creative people in
general. Our Studio itself was designed and built by my wonderful husband, Scott Tracy, who is also an
excellent metal sculptor
and painter. (And when our friends in the
"Burnin' Band" get together to play with us, our studio becomes a huge sound system!)
This is where most of my metalwork is created, with ample floorspace to lay out designs, and plenty of headroom to
assemble
large hanging pieces. Most of my Painting and Drawing is done upstairs, or on location, outside whenever possible! We
have been spending winter and spring in Fernandina Beach, Florida, where I work mostly on my deck and ocean backyard,
painting and casting Shell Sculpture as well as metalwork.
